Topic : HPLC <621> in USP Monographs |
Typical problems faced with USP LC methods are: |
|
• Method not Rugged/reproducible
• Analysis time too long
• Incompatible mobile phases ( buffer conc., pH ) with stationary phase ( e.g. use of Silica column with 95% buffers., it surely kills the column)
• Residual Solvents requirements in General Notices to USP-NF.
• Poor resolution/separation
|
|
Seminar exactly addressed these issues... How to approach USP for Monograph revision with respect to LC methods. Analysis time for many of the USP LC methods are more than 60 mins , how to reduce analysis time & incorporating in USP monographs. |
| |
Seminar also addressed translating existing LC methods into faster & quicker methods ( Tips & Tricks ). Fast LC method development. |
